Weddings
Many women don’t require the services of a professional make-up artist until their wedding day, and yet your wedding day is one of the biggest days of your life and the one occasion you want to look your absolute best!
So how do you know what you’re looking for? I would recommend taking a look around my website and Instagram page, get a feel for the way I work and my style, then see what you think of the final images. It doesn’t matter if you’re just looking for inspiration or a bit of reassurance about how the process works- or maybe you have a very clear idea of what you want for your big day and you just want to get it locked in! Use the contact page and drop me a message with your details and we’ll go from there. We can arrange a pre-wedding consultation (also known as a ‘trial’) and we can work together to tailor something that’s perfect for you.
I have a dedicated space at Eleanor Rose Hairdressing, a beautiful salon in Kendal where your pre-wedding consultation would generally take place. If you have accessibility needs please do tell me what these are so that I can accomodate you. My services are inclusive to all and we would love to make your visit to the salon absolutely seamless. If the space isn’t suitable then a telephone or text chat can be arranged and I am happy to do home or venue visits for pre-wedding trials as well as on the big day.
As for the trial itself, some Brides like a one-to-one consultation in a calming environment with no distractions where we can concentrate on perfecting the look; Others use the occasion to get the Bridal party together and make a bit of a day or evening of it. (Going out afterwards, optional!) Whatever your preference the outcome will be the same – we will discuss your ideas, try some things out and come up with a look that you love!
Commercial
I have years of experience providing make-up on campaign shoots for big brands such as Under Armour, Next, Very, Eleven Degrees, Lakeland Leather, Herdy and more.
I’ve done television and film, working on set for the BBC’s Question Time and shooting on location for commercials for Starling Bank and Urban Celebrity Clothing. I’ve also made up celebrities and Olympic Athletes and had multiple images in print and on magazine covers. Whether it’s print/photographic work, e-comm and social media or film and television, I have experience on set and on location and can offer freelance services on a day rate or as part of your shoot team. - Party Lashes (‘flares’ or clusters of individual lashes designed for volume or added length, applied to your own natural eyelashes and designed to last the day/night. Removed along with your usual make-up and no damage) From £5
*Please Note, Bridal party consultations must take place at the same time as the Bride’s. If additional dates are required for Bridal party members then charges will apply.
